The “Castellaccio”, or more commonly known as “Castlasc” or “Scarlasc”, is an ancient stone building of Medieval origin, recently renovated, and takes its name from a place on the hills of Albavilla, where already in the Iron Age there were fortified enclosures. <\/p>\n
In medieval times several castles were built in the area, but “Il Castellaccio” was probably just a simple service building in which, according to some writings, the Roman consul Marco Tullio Cicero could also have stayed!<\/p>\n

Today it is a big rural stone house with a large garden and woods. it houses 4 bedrooms with private bathroom<\/strong> upstairs, a breakfast room<\/strong>, also used as a common area, two small reading corners<\/strong> in the hall and upstairs, as well as a large outdoor area for<\/strong> breakfast and relaxation during the warm season.<\/p>\n Here at Castellaccio we\u2019ve tried to combine the charm of local traditions with a more modern comfort<\/strong>.
